If you are struggling with rising energy bills and the cost of living then you can apply for the Emergency Fuel Fund courtesy of the Railway Benefit Fund

They have launched this Emergency Fuel Fund, in reaction to the increased cost of living many are expected to experience in the UK. The Fund offers applicants a maximum grant of £200 to support with the cost of gas and electricity bills.

Are you eligible?

To be eligible for the grant, applicants must have at least one years’ experience working in rail, and have a gross household income of less than £35,000.
The Emergency Fuel Fund grant is available to current, former, and retired railway workers.

After providing proof of the increase in your energy bills, employment and bank statements, the team will process your application and award you with a grant if eligible.
