Thank you to everybody who joined us on our flagship fundraising event, The Royal Charter.

A fantastic day was had by all as the 70000 Britannia hauled the Saphos Carriages from Crewe to Windsor and back on the Queen’s Jubilee Bank Holiday.

We are delighted to announce that we raised over £60,000 and our thanks go to Locomotive Services Limited and Saphos Trains for making it happen and operating the charter on our behalf, as well as the Branch Line Society for hosting the ticketing.

We have 2 headboards to bid for in the auction – both carried by Britannia – one on the way there and the other on the return journey.

We also have some Royal Train livery class 47 model locos, Prince William and Prince Henry.
Both in display cases.

For only £5 you can buy a Limited Edition Railway Jubilee Brochure.

The brochure features the fantastic work completed by the industry, from train operating companies through to the teams working on the tracks – as well as a fantastic overview of 70 years of history on the railways.

All proceeds of the sales will be split between 5 charities who support the railways and children and we are delighted to be one of those charities.
